WUHAN (CHN) - Wuhan born and Wuhan bred, this 24-year-old girl named Zhang Yuhan enrolled in the women's 200m butterfly, women's 400m freestyle, women's 4×200m freestyle relay, and women's 800m freestyle.

Both her parents are swimmers and have won swimming national championships. When she began swimming at the age of four, her talent was obvious. At nine she won her first prize in a Wuhan swimming competition.

When she was 11 years old, Zhang was selected for the official swimming team of Hubei Province.

Then Zhang was admitted into the Bayi Swim Team, where she impressed everyone with her perseverance and endurance. Her hard work touched all her teammates, women and men alike. At the 6th CISM Military World Games in 2015, she managed to win three gold and two silver medals.

Zhang trained even harder for this event that is held right in her hometown. She hopes that the fruits of her labor will make Wuhan proud.
