PCSC Volleyball Pinheiro (BRA) predicts China and Brazil to rule the courts

WUHAN (CHN) - Jose Pinheiro (BRA), PCSC Volleyball and Beach Volleyball, is expecting a one-two finish for the male and female Chinese and Brazilian teams in the indoor version of the sport at the 7th CISM Military World Games (7th CWG).

Brazil won the 36th World Military Men’s Volleyball Championship last year, beating China in the final, while the Chinese women's team took their revenge against Brazil at the 19th World Military Women’s Volleyball Championship, played simultaneously in Edmonton, Canada, in June 2018.

“I think both teams will fight it out for first place”, declared Pinheiro. "I think China and Brazil will have achieve a great tournament as during the last world military championships, the final featured China and Brazil".

"Everybody would like to see Brazil and China together", he added. But he also knows that anything can happen at a competition.

"We have newcomers [in the women's competition at the 7th CWG]", he said. "We don’t know exactly their level". Regardless the final victory, the PCSC Volleyball said he already has a great feeling for the event.

“My first impression is that the organization is very good, and the facilities are international standard venues”, he said. “I think we will have a memorable event here”.

The women’s volleyball competition will take place from Wednesday October 16, 10.00 in the Jianghan University Gymnasium, while the men start their quest for gold on Sunday Oct. 20.
