Athletes' Village Offers Open-Day to the Media

 

 

WUHAN (CHN) - The Athletes' Village of the 7th CISM Military World Games (7th CWG) unveiled itself to the media by hosting an open-day event for the accreditated media on October 13, four days prior to the opening ceremony of the multi-sports Games. Media representatives from all over the world have witnessed the insides of the village, full with its spacious apartments, fully-fitted everyday wares, audio-video gate-keeper system and the gorgeous restaurant which sits and dines up to 4,500 athletes at any one time. There are altogether 1,958 apartment suites for athletes, coaches and team officials, as well as supporting staffers like doctors and trainers. The Athletes' Village in Wuhan is the very first specially-built for the CISM Military World Games. The Athletes' Village also provides services such as medical centers and fitness centers.

 

 

The Athletes' Village is expected to host up to 10,000 athletes, coaches and team officials from around 100 countries and regions members of the International Military Sports Council (CISM).
