Cancellation of the 13th World Military Women's Football Championship

BRUSSELS (BEL) - CISM has the regret to inform that Cameroon is withdrawing from the organization of the 13th World Military Women's Football Championship which was to be held from June 20 to July 7, 2020 in Yaoundé (see attached letter).

Financial constraints imposed by the organization of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in April 2020 and the postponing of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) in January 2021 instead of June of the same year do not allow Cameroon, despite their commitment and their enthusiasm, to organize this competition serenely.

Cameroon sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused and remains firmly committed to the ideals of peace and solidarity advocated by CISM.

Annulation du 13e Championnat du Monde Militaire de Football féminine 2020

BRUSSELS (BEL) - Le CISM a le regret de vous annoncer que le Cameroun se retire de l'organisation du 13e Championnat du Monde Militaire de Football féminine 2020vqui devait se tenir du 20 juin au 7 juillet 2020 à Yaouné (voir lettre ci-joint).

Des contraintes financières imposée par l'organisation du Championnat d'Afrique des Nations (CHAN) en avril 2020 et le rapprochement de la Coupe d'Afrique des Nations (CAN) en janvier 2021 au lieu de juin de la même année ne permettent pas au Cameroun, en dépit de leur engagement et de leur enthousiasme, d'organiser cette compétition sereinement.

Le Cameroun regrette sincèrement les désagréments engendrés et reste fermement attaché aux idéaux de paix et de solidarité prônés par le CISM.
