"Our aim was to introduce CISM’s initiatives and discuss the potential for Japan to participate in the future," said Navy Captain Recchia. "Japan’s strong sporting traditions and commitment to international collaboration align closely with CISM’s values of uniting military personnel through sportsmanship and camaraderie."

The Japanese representatives expressed interest in CISM’s activities and its capacity to encourage meaningful exchanges among military personnel worldwide. The dialogue reinforced CISM’s mission to expand its global network and promote its values through active engagement with nations beyond its current membership.

As CISM continues to build bridges through the universal language of sport, it looks forward to the possibility of welcoming Japan into its network of member nations.
