CISM President visits the Chief of Staff of Oman Armed Forces and signs an agreement with Jungwon University

MUSCAT (OMA) – In the framework of the 2nd CISM World Football Cup that takes place in Muscat, capital of the Sultanate of Oman, a CISM delegation, led by Colonel Abdulhakeem Alshino, CISM President, and Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita, CISM Secretary General, had the opportunity to meet Lieutenant General PSC Ahmed bin Harith bin Nasser Al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces and Chief of the Organizing Committee. The CISM delegation visited the headquarters of the Oman Armed Forces and proceeded to a gift exchange with the Omani delegation.

In the afternoon, the CISM President and the CISM Secretary General met a Korean delegation from Jungwon University in the Hotel Grand Hormuz in Muscat. The Korean delegation was composed of his Honorable Dr. Park Chankyu, Dean of Jungwon University and Mr. Kim Jin, Dean of the International Admission Department of Jungwon University. The CISM Marketing Agency, led by Mr. Son Hee Kul, and Lieutenant-Colonel Walter Borghino, President of the CISM Sports Committee, also attended the meeting.

This meeting was a memorable moment of the CISM history as it marks the ignition of a strong and sustainable collaboration between CISM and the Jungwon University. CISM and Jungwon University signed a partnership agreement in order to establish a new academic program in Jungwon University, “the CISM Masters Study Program”.

Indeed, Jungwon University decided to accompany CISM in educating the future generations of sports managers so that CISM can benefits from a more solid academic background in order to keep improving its management and its activities.
