MONTPELLIER (FRA) – The second day of the 12th WMC Lifesaving competition saw thrilling action in the Beach events, with athletes showcasing exceptional speed and endurance. Here are the standout performances from today's competitions.
In the Beach Sprint Women event, Yifan Jiang from China claimed first place, followed by Elise Daudignon from France in second, and Michele Matos from Brazil in third. For the Beach Sprint Men, Wenxu Qin from China took the top spot, with Lorenzo Giaccone from Italy and Elias Röösli from Switzerland finishing second and third, respectively.
In the Beach Sprint Relay Women, the French team of Lola Montagut, Margaux Fabre, Elise Daudignon, and Camille Julien secured first place. The German team consisting of Undine Lauerwald, Alicia Gebhardt, Anna-Fiona Volz, and Gina Zech came in second, while the Chinese team of Xin Cheng, Haoqin He, Dantong Chen, and Yifan Jiang placed third.
For the Beach Sprint Relay Men, France's team of Tom Durager, Jérémie Lahet, Santxo Etcheverry, and Valentin Lauret emerged victorious. Switzerland's Jonas Rudolf, Elias Röösli, Nico Lenzlinger, and Cyril Senften took second place, and the Brazilian team of Ruann Bessa Da Silva, Filipe Pereira, Diogo Villarinho, and Pedro Vieira finished third.
Elise Daudignon from France won the Surfski Women event, with her compatriot Margaux Fabre coming in second, and Anna-Fiona Volz from Germany finishing third. In the Surfski Men event, Jérémie Lahet from France took first place, Cyril Senften from Switzerland secured second, and Lorenzo Giaccone from Italy claimed third.
Margaux Fabre from France triumphed in the Oceanwomen event, with Elise Daudignon, also from France, taking second, and Germany's Anna-Fiona Volz placing third. Santxo Etcheverry from France won the Oceanmen event, followed by his fellow Frenchman Jérémie Lahet in second, and Mattia Faccinti from Italy in third.

The German team of Alicia Gebhardt, Johanna Seilner, Anna-Fiona Volz, and Gina Zech finished second, while the Italian team of Simona Castellano, Lucrezia Fabretti, Masha Giordano, and Gioia Mazzi came in third.
For the Oceanmen Relay, the French team of Kevin Lasserre, Santxo Etcheverry, Jérémie Lahet, and Tom Durager secured first place. The Italian team consisting of Mattia Faccinti, Lorenzo Giaccone, Flavio Feliciangeli, and Nicola Roberto finished second, and the Swiss team of Jonas Lenzlinger, Elias Röösli, Cyril Senften, and Nico Lenzlinger placed third.
In the Mixed Ocean Lifesaver Relay, the French team of Elise Daudignon, Santxo Etcheverry, Lola Montagut, and Kevin Lasserre emerged victorious.
