LUCERNE (SUI) - In a powerful display of environmental awareness and international solidarity, Mrs. İpek İpek, owner of A5 Defense Magazine, and Colonel Nilton Rolim, President of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), presented eco-friendly certificates to delegations from 43 countries during the 5th CISM Military World Winter Games.
The certificates were handed personally to the heads of each national delegation, including Colonel Bülent Cendik of Türkiye. Turkish Armed Forces athletes made a strong impression at the games, showcasing exceptional skill and sportsmanship across both individual and team events. Their performance in winter sports disciplines earned widespread admiration from fellow participating nations, contributing to Türkiye’s proud representation on the global stage.
This meaningful initiative marked the third year of collaboration between A5 Defense Magazine and CISM. Built on the shared principle of “Friendship Through Sport,” the partnership continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
As part of this year’s environmental initiative, a sapling was donated to the Trabzon Yolaç Memorial Forest in honor of every participating country. The certificates were created with sustainability in mind - crafted using recycled materials and framed in eco-conscious designs, reflecting the values of unity and responsibility.
The gesture not only reinforced CISM’s commitment to environmental sustainability but also highlighted the power of international military sports to inspire global cooperation and mutual respect.
