CISM President General Piccirillo attends the 36th General Assembly of the Arab Military Sports Federation

CISM President General Hervé Piccirillo and Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem Bin Al Nabet, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces

DOHA (QAT) – The 36th General Assembly of the Arab Military Sports Federation is currently being held in the city of Doha, capital of Qatar, in the presence of 22 countries, most of which are members of CISM.

This event is organized under the responsibility of Brigadier General Youssef Al Kuwari, President of the Qatari Military Sports Association and Chief of Delegation of Qatar to CISM.

The opening ceremony took place under the presidency of Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem Bin Al Nabet, Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces.

Also present on site, General Hervé Piccirillo, CISM President, intervened to recall the role of CISM and the need to develop a fruitful collaboration between the two military institutions in the service of Peace and Security in the world.

The opening ceremony was also the occasion to hear the interventions of the Major General Staff of War Khaled Shokre (Shukri), Acting president of the Arabic Military Sport Federation and of the Minister Delegate Tarek Abdul Salam, General Secretary of the Arabic Military sport federation.
