NOVI SAD (SRB) - The 3rd CISM World Military Basketball 3x3 Championship concluded yesterday, June 20, in Novi Sad, Serbia, with high-intensity games showcasing top-tier talent and sportsmanship. Over two days, military athletes from across the globe competed fiercely in both men's and women's categories, culminating in a series of electrifying matches that highlighted the event’s competitive spirit and exceptional organization by the Serbian Delegation to CISM.

 

On the second and final day of the 3rd CISM World Military Basketball 3x3 Championship, the Women's Quarterfinals delivered exciting matchups that set a competitive tone. Belgium defeated North Macedonia with a decisive 18-11 win through effective team play and tactical precision. The Netherlands showcased their dominance by overcoming Bosnia & Herzegovina 21-6, using aggressive offense and tight defense. France delivered an overwhelming performance against host nation Serbia, winning 21-2 with exceptional speed and accuracy. In a closely contested final game, Canada edged out Germany 14-9, demonstrating resilience and strong defense.

 

The intensity of the 3rd CISM World Military Basketball 3x3 Championship only heightened during the Semifinals, with two decisive victories setting the stage for the final medal matches. In the first semifinal, France faced Canada and delivered a commanding performance, defeating the Canadians with a score of 21-8.
