International Day of Military Sports 2023 – Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (SRI) - The Sri Lanka Air Force organized its International Day of Military Sports 2023 in the morning of February 18, 2023 at the Riffle Green Ground in Colombo under the leadership of the President of the Defense Services Sports Board and Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Sudarshana Pathirana.

The event was also attended by several other dignitaries: CISM Secretary General, Navy Captain Roberto Recchia; Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, General Kamal Gunaratne (Ret.); Chief of the Air Forces Staff of Sri Lanka, Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapakse ; Chief of Defense Staff General Shavendra Silva; Army Commander Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage; Navy Commander Vice Admiral Priyantha Perera; and the members of the Air Force Board of Management.

More than 100 members from each service participated in a CISM Day Run of nearly 2.5 km.
