TOKYO (FRA) - The day of 27 July was a milestone for the Swiss Army. Indeed, the women's individual Mountain-Bike competition was the scene of a complete domination of the Swiss team which succeeded in placing its three military athletes on the podium! Private First-Class Jolanda Neff was the fastest in the race, finishing ahead of her compatriot Private Sina Frei by 1 minute and 11 seconds! Private First-Class Linda Indergrand completed the podium with a third place at eight seconds of Sina Frei. A great collective performance from the Swiss. Private Loana Lecomte (FRA) was sixth.
Warrant Officer Clarisse Agbegnenou, 2018 Military World Judo Champion and posted to the National Defence Sports Centre in Fontainebleau, became Olympic Champion with her gold medal in judo, category - 63 kg Women. This is the second medal for the Army of Champions and the sixth medal for the French delegation.
In Judo, Austrian Corporal Shamil Borchashvili took bronze in the Men's -81 kg category after his victory in the bronze medal match against Germany's Ressel.
After her gold medal at the CISM Military World Summer Games in Mungyeong 2015 and Wuhan 2019 and numerous civilian medals, Lieutenant Iuliia Karimova (RUS) takes the bronze medal with her teammate Kamenskiy in 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team (Shooting).

Brazil is also celebrating with a bronze medal for 3rd Sergeant Fernando Muhlenberg Scheffer in the 200m Freestyle Men's Individual (Swimming), while Italy continues its momentum with another bronze medal won by Caporal Federica Isola, Caporal Rossella Fiamingo and Caporal Mara Navarria in the Women's Epée Team Event (Fencing).
