The Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports, established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Ministry of Culture and Sports, plays a crucial role in the development of mass sports in Kazakhstan. It is also leading efforts to internationalize sports education in the country, with initiatives such as the MBA (Master of Business Administration) and EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) programs in sports management, developed in cooperation with WSG University in Poland (Wyższa Szkoła Gospodarki – University of Economy in Bydgoszcz).
The primary objective of the visit was to explore European best practices in sports management, event organization, and sports education, which motivated their visit to CISM Headquarters. The Academy aims to adapt these insights to further develop national sports in Kazakhstan, with a particular focus on building partnerships and learning from successful European models.
This visit marks an important step in the Academy’s efforts to foster international collaborations and enhance the professional qualifications of sports leaders in Kazakhstan. The CISM Headquarters provided a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise in sports management, reinforcing CISM's commitment to building bridges through sports.
