Strengthening ties: CISM President meets with Brazilian Defense leaders to enhance collaboration

BRASÍLIA (BRA) – Colonel Nilton Rolim, President of CISM, recently held a productive meeting with Mr. José Mucio Monteiro Filho, Minister of Defense of the Brazilian Armed Forces; Mr. Luiz Henrique Pochyly da Costa, Secretary of Brazilian Defense; and Brigadier General Carlos Vinícius Teixeira de Vasconcelos, Chief of the Brazilian Delegation. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss and enhance Brazil's support for CISM and share insights on the role of sports in fostering international cooperation.


Key discussion points included Military World Championships, Military World Games, innovative educational initiatives, Sport and Peace actions and projections for future cooperation between Brazil and CISM.


The meeting also served to acknowledge the significant contributions of the Brazilian Delegation to CISM, reinforcing the collaborative efforts between Brazil and the organization.


Colonel Nilton Rolim expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Defense for his ongoing support and thanked Brazil for its continued collaboration with CISM over the years.
