CHICAGO (USA) – In the framework of the FAI World Parachuting Championships, the US Army Golden Knights won two gold medals in the 4-Way Female Competition and in the 8-Way Competition. Congratulations to Dannielle Woosley, Laura Davis, Jennifer Davidson, Janette Lefkowitz, Sherri Jo Gallagher and Scott Janise for their first place in the 4-Way Female Competition. Woosley and Davis competed in the 6th CISM World Summer Games in Mungyeong.
In the 8-Way Competition, the US team topped the podium thanks to Sean Sweeney, Joshua Coleman, David Flynn, Justin Blewitt, Andrew Starr, Ryan Ray, Jeshua Stahler, Kurt Isenbarger, Matthew Davidson, Larry Miller and Brian Krause!
Finally, in the Freefall Style Male event, three military athletes are completing the podium. Libor Jirousek (CZE) won the gold medal with a total of 31,62 points while Elischa Weber (GER – 32,33 points) was ranked second. Dmitrii Maksimov (RUS – 32,63 points) finished on the third step of the podium.
For information, in the 6th CISM World Summer Games in Mungyeong, 1Lt Libor Jirousek finished 7th in the individual overall male competition while he won the individual style male in the 40th CUSM WMC Parachuting in Kubinka and was ranked 15th in the individual overall male event in the same competition. OR-8 Weber also took the 13th place in the individual overall male event in the WMC Parachuting in Kubinka and was ranked 24th in the individual overall male event in Mungyeong. WO Dmitrii Maksimov took the gold medal in the individual overall male competition at the 6th CISM World Summer Games in Mungyeong and he was ranked third in the individual overall male event in Kubinka.
