40th WMC Parachuting - Kubinka (RUS) – Update – Day 8

KUBINKA (RUS) – Since yesterday, Competition Day 8 of the 40^th WMC Parachuting in Kubinka (RUS), some of the medalists are already known. Thanks to her first places in the individual accuracy female event and the individual style female event, WO Olga Lepezina won the Individual Overall Female competition. OR-8 Deborah Ferrand (FRA) took the second place (3^rd place in accuracy and 6^th place in style) while WO Nataliya Nikitsiuk (RUS) is completing the podium with the bronze medal (2^nd place in accuracy and 8^th place in style). PVT Darja Shastakovich (BLR) took the first place in the individual accuracy junior female, imitated by OR-1 Leocadie Ollivier de Pury (FRA) in the individual style junior female.

In the individual overall junior female, PVT Darja Shastakovich (BLR) won the gold medal thanks to her first place in the accuracy event and her second place in the style event. OR-1 Leocadie Ollivier de Pury (FRA) was consigned to second spot with her 3^rd place in the accuracy event and her first place in the style event and the bronze medal goes to Russian PVT Alena Shkilenko (2^nd place in accuracy and 4^th place in style).

In the female team competition, Belarus (WO Nikitsiuk, SGT Fiodarava, SSG Famina, SSG Zimina and SSG Osipava) won the team accuracy female event. France won the formation female event and Russia won the style event. Russia (WO Zavariugina, 1LT Furman, WO Lepezina, WO Kravchenko and WO Tusheva) took the gold medal of the team overall female competition. Belarus won the silver medal and France took the third spot.

In the male, competitions are not finished yet and we only know 3 official results: 2LT Gao Tinabo (CHN) won the individual accuracy junior male event, imitated by MSG Dmitrii Mastafanov (RUS) in the individual accuracy male event. In the team accuracy male event, Hungary topped the podium with Russia on the second spot and Belarus taking the third place.
