CAMP PENDLETON (USA) – For the first game of the Competition Day 4 of the 2nd WMC Women’s Basketball in Camp Pendleton (USA), China was facing Canada. China quickly took control of the game and after two quarters, China had a 22-points lead. Canada couldn’t do anything against the offensive power of China. The last two quarters looked something like the 20 first minutes and the Chinese players maintained their domination. It’s therefore China who won its third victory of the tournament (93-37) while Canada is on a run of 4 defeats.
USA really wanted to consolidate their first place shared with the Brazilian team before tomorrow’s big clash against this same Brazilian team. As in the previous games, the US players were very impressive: a strong defense, an extremely dynamic attacking game and a very good bench. It was enough to come back to the lockers with a decisive 26-points advantage (42/16). The domination of the US team was even more impressive in the third and fourth quarters, Germany only scoring points while USA made a real offensive demonstration as indicated on the scoreboard: USA 91 – Germany 27.
In the last game of the day, Brazil faced a disappointing French team. Brazil honored their status of favorite. At the halftime, the difference had already been made by the Brazilian players (39-25) who could easily manage the last two quarters (79-62). 4 victories in 4 games: Brazil is ready for the tomorrow’s big final against USA. The winner of this game will be the new World Military Champion! Good luck to both teams and let the best win! Click here to watch the final!
