TEHERAN (IRI) – For the second day of competition of the 35th WMC Men’s Volleyball, after their initial win against Lebanon, Venezuela managed to defeat Sri Lanka and take the first place of the group B while the players of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea won their first game of the tournament against Lebanon (3-0). In the group A, the host country won its second game in a row against Palestine (3-0) and is now ranked at the first place of the group. Once again, it was a difficult game for Zambia. The African players couldn’t resist to the strong Pakistanis players who started their tournament the best way possible (0-3).
On Competition Day 3, the Group B saw the easy victory of China against Venezuela (3-0) while Sri Lanka defeated Democratic People's Republic of Korea 3-0.
In the group A, Pakistan won its second victory of the tournament after defeating Palestine (3-0). Islamic Republic of Iran confirmed its first place of the group A by winning South Korea 3-1.
