Overview of the situation for the CISM Statutory Elections 2018

BRUSSELS (BEL) – During the last BoD Meeting held in Nice in February 2018 in the framework of the 70^th CISM Anniversary, the BoD took note and confirmed the following assessments by the Commission for the Verification of Credentials 2018 for the next elections that will take place during the 73^rd General Assembly and Congress in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

For the position as CISM President, the commission validated the candidature of Colonel (Commissaire en Chef de 1ère classe) Hervé Piccirillo from France.

For the position as CISM Secretary General, the commission validated the candidature of Colonel Dorah Mamby Koita from Guinea.

For the position as CISM President Europe, the Commission validated the candidature of Colonel Dirk Schwede from Germany.

For the position as CISM BoD Member representing Europe, the commission validated the candidatures of:

• Colonel Bertrand Gebuhrer from France

• Navy Captain Spyridon Andriopoulos from Greece

• Colonel Claude Portmann from Switzerland

• Colonel Oleg Botsman from Russia

• Lieutenant-Colonel Jan-Henrik Back from Sweden
