GERMANY - The Bundeswehr National Football Team is the selection of the best football players serving in the Bundeswehr. The squad is composed of players from the Verbandsliga (Football State League) to the Regionalliga (fourth tier of football in the German football league system). Also former top athletes frequently take an active part in charity matches. The Bundeswehr National Football Team is an instrument of Bundeswehr PR activities and contributes to the Bundeswehr reputation in public. Furthermore, it serves the purpose of recruitment while at the same time being committed to charity work. In this context, the team supports projects and activities in the form of charity matches. On the international scale, the team represents Germany in military competitions under the roof of the International Military Sports Council (CISM).

2010 - CISM European Championship in the Netherlands (CISM European Champion)
2011 - Military World Games, Brasilia (5th place)
2012 - European Soccer Championships, Ireland
2013 - 1st CISM World Football Trophy, Azerbaijan
2016 - Qualification for the 2nd CISM World Football Cup 2017, OMAN
Friendlies against other military selections are forecasted, incl. England, the Netherlands, France, and against non-professional and professional teams up to the German premier league (e.g. Alemannia Aachen, VFB Stuttgart, FC Ingolstadt, FC Bayern München II, SC Pfullendorf, SC Idar-Oberstein, US College all-star team...)
