BRUSSELS (BEL) - After thorough deliberation, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Delegation to CISM has announced the postponement of the 15th World Military Football Championship for women. Originally scheduled for this year, the event will now take place in 2025, with a tentative window from April to June. The exact dates will be confirmed in the coming weeks and shared via the official CISM website, where additional details will also be provided to the participating nations.

The decision to reschedule the championship was made to prevent overlaps with other major international sporting events, ensuring that all teams have ample time to prepare. Furthermore, this postponement will allow participating countries to better organize their budgets and logistical arrangements. The extended timeframe aims to foster a more inclusive and competitive tournament by encouraging broader participation from military teams worldwide.

This adjustment reflects CISM's ongoing commitment to promoting international camaraderie and athletic excellence among military personnel.
